As a travel journalist with an insatiable wanderlust, my second leg of the inter-country road trip took me to the enchanting city of Pokhara, nestled in the heart of Nepal. Accompanied by my school friends and my trusty travel companions, we set out on a quest to explore the hidden gems of this picturesque city. Little did we know that our stay at BusyBee Resort Nepal would turn into a delightful surprise.

The resort proved to be a bit of a challenge to locate, hidden away on a narrow lane in Pokhara. However, as we entered its premises, it was like stepping into a new world altogether. The bustling streets of the city suddenly gave way to a serene oasis.

One of the first things that struck us was the resort’s prime location. Nestled amidst the streets, it offered easy access to all the local eateries, allowing us to indulge in the delectable flavours of Nepal effortlessly. What’s more, BusyBee Resort has its very own in-house Korean restaurant, adding an international twist to our culinary adventure.

Our check-in at this charming place was very late at night, but to our surprise, we encountered no hassles or formalities. As we made our way to our rooms, the resort welcomed us with a warm and homely vibe. The central courtyard, reminiscent of scenes from Tollywood movies I am so fond of, caught my eye. Sumit, one of my school friends, couldn’t help but reminisce about his childhood days at his uncle’s place, a place he had always dreamt of owning. Who wouldn’t love waking up to such a view?

Speaking of waking up, what we all woke up to was truly breathtaking. Each room had its own attached balcony, and since it was a two-floor hotel, the ease of exploring the property for great views was hassle-free. The staff added to the charm of the place, being incredibly sweet and helpful.

At the front desk, I couldn’t help but notice the beautiful paintings that adorned the reception area, offering us a glimpse into Nepalese culture and heritage. It was as if the very essence of the country had been captured in those artworks. I found myself in a dilemma, unable to differentiate whether I was in my own country or a nation far away from home.

In conclusion, BusyBee Resort Nepal turned out to be a hidden gem in Pokhara. Its unassuming exterior belies the tranquil and welcoming atmosphere inside. With its strategic location, comfortable rooms, and delightful courtyard, it’s a place that captures the essence of both Pokhara and Nepal. So, if you’re planning a visit to this charming city, I wholeheartedly recommend checking into BusyBee Resort Nepal. It’s not just a hotel; it’s an experience waiting to be discovered. With this, I say, don’t miss the chance to experience the magic of this hidden oasis in the heart of Pokhara.

Happy travels!
