Tata Motors, India’s largest four-wheeler EV manufacturer, has announced the introductory prices for the Harrier.ev Quad Wheel Drive (QWD) variants — the country’s safest all-wheel drive SUV. Following an overwhelming response to the rear-wheel drive (RWD) models, Tata Motors has launched the Harrier.ev QWD at an introductory price of ₹28.99 lakh, bringing customers a blend of unmatched performance, power, and capability.
The Harrier.ev features breakthrough dual-motor technology, delivering 158 PS (116 kW) at the front and 238 PS (175 kW) along with 504 Nm of torque, offering a commanding driving experience across terrains. The SUV has achieved a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating, scoring a perfect 32/32 in Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and 45/49 in Child Occupant Protection (COP), reaffirming Tata Motors’ commitment to safety.
Bookings for the Harrier.ev open on July 2, with prices for the full range starting at ₹21.49 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., said :- The Harrier.ev, with its industry-first innovations, is truly a breakthrough product. It offers unmatched price parity with ICE-powered vehicles while addressing traditional barriers to EV adoption through its superior MIDC range of 627 km (P1+P2), fast charging that adds 250 km of range in just 15 minutes, and a lifetime warranty on the battery pack for a carefree ownership experience. Coupled with its 5-star Bharat NCAP rating, the Harrier.ev delivers superlative performance and capability that outclass other high-end SUVs in the market. It is undoubtedly the best SUV from India yet — setting new benchmarks for homegrown SUVs and resonating strongly with customers.
The Harrier.ev QWD accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 6.3 seconds and comes equipped with advanced features like Boost Mode, 6 Terrain Modes, and an Off-Road Assist Mode, making it not just an alternative to internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles but a new benchmark for the future of Indian mobility.
