Tata Motors, India’s foremost electric vehicle manufacturer and the country’s top SUV brand, has officially commenced production of the all-new Harrier.ev at its cutting-edge Pune facility. Unveiled earlier this year, the Harrier.ev is now ready to reach dealerships nationwide, with customer deliveries slated to begin later this July. This production milestone marks a pivotal moment in Tata’s EV journey and reaffirms its commitment to leading India’s electric revolution.
Dual-motor power, EV performance redefined
Built on Tata’s advanced acti.ev+ platform, the Harrier.ev sets new benchmarks for performance, capability, and safety. In its Quad Wheel Drive (QWD) configuration, it features a breakthrough dual-motor setup producing 208bhp at the front and 315bhp at the rear, delivering a combined 504 Nm of torque. Capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 kmph in just 6.3 seconds, this is the fastest and most powerful SUV ever developed by Tata Motors. Reinforcing its all-around excellence, the Harrier.ev has earned a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating, scoring 32/32 in Adult Occupant Protection and 45/49 for Child Occupant Protection.
Five RWD variants, prices announced
The Harrier.ev is available in both Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) and Quad Wheel Drive (QWD) formats, with bookings opening on July 2, 2025. The RWD range starts at ₹21.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and includes five distinct personas:

Available in four signature paint options — Nainital Nocturne, Empowered Oxide, Pristine White, and Pure Grey — the Harrier.ev also debuts a head-turning STEALTH Edition, finished in matte black with all-black interiors for an aggressive and futuristic aesthetic. With segment-first innovations like a Harman display powered by Samsung Neo QLED, immersive Dolby Atmos sound, and an industry-first 540° Surround View system, the Harrier.ev offers a futuristic driving experience like no other. Fast-charging capabilities enable 250 km of range in just 15 minutes, while a MIDC-certified range of 627 km ensures long-distance practicality.
