Kia India, one of the country’s leading premium carmakers, has announced major changes in its top management, appointing Mr. Sunhack Park as Chief Sales Officer (CSO) and Mr. Joonsu Cho as Chief Business Officer (CBO).
Mr. Park will lead Kia India’s sales strategy in his new position, emphasizing operational effectiveness, market expansion, and sustainable growth. He has almost thirty years of expertise and has held prominent positions at Kia Headquarters in South Korea, the Middle East, Africa, and India.

Mr. Cho, with over 32 years of global leadership experience across Australia, the UK, and Europe, will now oversee comprehensive business strategies at Kia India. His responsibilities will include production planning, export logistics, strategic alliances, and ensuring operational excellence.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Park said, This is an exciting phase for Kia India as we continue to grow in a dynamic market. My focus will be on strengthening sales growth, optimizing operations, and deepening partnerships with dealers and stakeholders.

Echoing this vision, Mr. Cho stated, Kia India has achieved remarkable progress in recent years. My priority will be to develop strong business strategies that support long-term growth and reinforce operational excellence.
The leadership transition underscores Kia’s commitment to the Indian market, where it has rapidly expanded since commencing local production in 2019. With a wide portfolio of nine vehicles, including SUVs (Sport Utility Vehicles), MPVs (Multi-Purpose Vehicles), and EVs, Kia India has already dispatched nearly 1.5 million units from its Anantapur plant and established a network of 796 touchpoints across 360 cities.
