Micelio Mobility’s annual flagship event, the Global Clean Mobility Summit 2025, concluded in Bengaluru, bringing together top leaders from India and around the world to discuss the future of sustainable transportation.

In line with the theme “Next Starts Now: Sustain and Scale”, the summit saw participation from renowned figures including Jan Kuenne (Grundig Akademie für Wirtschaft & Technik), Kris Gopalakrishnan (Infosys & Axilor Ventures), Raman C. V. (Maruti Suzuki India), Kasturi Gomatham (Shell), and Priyanka Bisen Shah (Bajaj Auto).

Micelio Mobility honoured Ather Energy’s Co-Founder and CEO Tarun Mehta with the “Individual Contributor of the Year 2025” Award for his remarkable contributions to India’s clean mobility sector.

Raman C. V., Member of the Executive Committee at Maruti Suzuki India, spoke about the country’s journey toward sustainability, highlighting how the brand evolved from producing 60 cars per day to 7,000 cars per day — now transitioning to electric vehicles for global markets. He emphasized that India’s mobility future must be “clean, connected, and customer-centric.”

The summit also featured global insights from Jan Kuenne, who praised Bengaluru’s innovation ecosystem and shared examples of sustainable solutions such as autonomous bicycles from MIT Media Lab and repurposed cable cars for last-mile logistics.

The panel dicussion that focussed on the topic – What’s Next in Mobility?

Panel discussions throughout the day explored topics like “What’s Next in Mobility” and “Building Brands in the New Mobility Economy”, with participation from leaders across Shell, Bajaj Auto, Global Automotive, and Nirvana Films.

Unveiling the Micelio’s report “Closing the Loop: Building a Roadmap for Battery Circularity in India”

Micelio Mobility also unveiled its new report, “Closing the Loop: Building a Roadmap for Battery Circularity in India”, highlighting sustainable supply chains and investment strategies for a circular economy.

The event showcased entrepreneurial journeys from Volar Alta, Shoffr, and Moonrider, and featured a Knowledge Roundtable with experts from Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), WRI India, and the Centre of Excellence in Advanced Automotive Research (CAAR).

During the summit, Micelio Mobility and ARAI reaffirmed their collaboration through the Digital Twin Lab, enabling real-time testing and validation for electric mobility technologies.

The day ended with a fireside chat between Tarun Mehta and Kris Gopalakrishnan, who discussed India’s growing innovation landscape and the investment opportunities driving the clean mobility revolution.
