A bigger, more commanding Seltos
Kia India has globally unveiled the all-new Kia Seltos from India, marking the return of one of the country’s most popular midsize SUVs in a bigger, bolder and more tech-loaded avatar. With enhanced dimensions, next-generation features, advanced safety and new powertrain options, the new Seltos is aimed at redefining benchmarks in the highly competitive midsize SUV segment..

Bigger, bolder and more futuristic than ever.
The all-new Seltos now measures 4,460 mm in length and 1,830 mm in width, making it the longest in the segment. The wheelbase has grown to 2,690 mm, which directly translates into better cabin space and improved ride stability. Kia says the SUV has been engineered specifically for Indian road conditions while meeting global quality standards.

A new design with strong road presence
The new Seltos showcases Kia’s Opposites United design philosophy with a fresh Digital Tiger Face, Ice Cube LED projection headlamps, Star Map LED DRLs and connected LED tail lamps. The SUV also gets first in segment Automatic Streamline Door Handles, R18 crystal cut alloy wheels with neon brake calipers, an integrated rear spoiler and rugged skid plates.
Customers will be able to choose from 10 monotone colour options, including two new shades introduced for India, Morning Haze and Magma Red.

A Premium, Tech-Packed Cabin
Inside, the Seltos features a 75.18 cm Trinity Panoramic Display Panel, which combines the instrument cluster, infotainment system and climate display into a single seamless unit. The cabin is finished in dual-tone smoky black and white interiors with leatherette upholstery.
Comfort features include a 10-way power adjustable driver seat with lumbar support and relaxation function, ventilated front seats, memory function synced with ORVM settings and a welcome retract seat feature. The dual pane panoramic sunroof, 64 colour ambient lighting, wireless charging and Bose 8 speaker premium audio system further enhance the premium feel.
Rear passengers benefit from 60:40 split reclining seats, sunshade curtains and Type C USB charging at both front and rear.

New K3 Platform and advanced safety
The upcoming Seltos is the first Kia model in India to be built on the global K3 platform, which uses high-strength steel and reinforced structures for improved crash protection, better ride comfort and reduced noise levels.
Safety is a major highlight with 24 standard safety features, including 6 airbags, ABS, ESC, hill start assist and rear occupant alert. The SUV also offers ADAS Level 2 with 21 autonomous features, including forward collision warning, forward collision avoidance assist, lane keeping assist and smart cruise control. Additional features like a 360 degree camera, blind view monitor and side parking sensors make daily driving safer and easier.

Engine and transmission options
Kia is offering the Seltos with same three engine choices:
- Smartstream 1.5 litre petrol producing 114bhp and 144 Nm
- Smartstream 1.5 litre turbo petrol producing 158bhp and 253 Nm
- 1.5 litre CRDi diesel producing 114bhp and 250 Nm
Transmission options include 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT, IVT, 7-speed DCT and 6-speed automatic, giving prospective buyers a wide range of configurations based on their driving preferences.
Trims, bookings and Price announcement
The all-new Seltos will be available in HTE, HTK, HTX and GTX trims, along with multiple option packs including Convenience, Premium, ADAS and X Line. The X Line design pack will be exclusive to the GTX variants.
Bookings for the all-new Kia Seltos open nationwide from midnight on December 11, 2025, with an initial booking amount of Rs 25,000. Kia has confirmed that prices will be officially announced on January 2, 2026.
Kia’s vision for India
Speaking at the global premiere, Kia India Managing Director and CEO Mr Gwanggu Lee said the all-new Seltos is more than just a generation update and represents Kia’s ambition to lead the segment with bold design, advanced technology and superior safety. He added that the SUV has been optimised for Indian customers without compromising on global standards.
The all-new Seltos is produced at Kia’s Anantapur manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to India as both a major market and a global production hub.
With stronger dimensions, premium interiors, advanced technology and multiple powertrain choices, the all-new Kia Seltos is set to challenge rivals and continue its legacy as one of India’s most loved midsize SUVs.
