Hyundai continues to fine-tune its compact SUV portfolio to match evolving buyer expectations. The latest update comes in the form of a new HX5+ variant added to the all-new Hyundai Venue range. Priced at ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the new variant strengthens the Venue line up by offering a smarter mix of comfort, convenience and style focused upgrades, without moving too far up the price ladder.
With over 50,000 bookings already recorded for the all new VENUE, the introduction of this variant appears to be a direct response to strong customer demand.
WHAT’s NEW IN THE HYUNDAI VENUE HX5+ VARIANT
The HX5+ variant is powered by Hyundai’s familiar 1.2 litre Kappa petrol engine, paired with a manual transmission. What truly sets it apart, however, is the list of features aimed at everyday usability.
Key additions include:
- Roof rails
- Quad-beam LED headlamps
- Rear window sunshade
- Wireless smartphone charging
- Driver console armrest with storage
- Rear wiper and washer
- Driver power window with auto up/down and safety function
These updates enhance both cabin comfort and exterior appeal, reinforcing the VENUE’s image as a feature-rich compact SUV for urban buyers.
HYUNDAI RESPONDS TO STRONG CUSTOMER DEMAND
Commenting on the introduction, Hyundai Motor India Limited Managing Director & CEO Tarun Garg highlighted the overwhelming response received by the all new VENUE. With more than 50,000 bookings already in hand, Hyundai sees the HX5+ variant as a way to further improve the value proposition for customers looking for practical upgrades without stepping into higher trims.
Hyundai also reaffirmed its long term commitment to Indian customers, focusing on trust, quality and continuous product refinement.
ADDITIONAL UPDATE FOR HX4 VARIANT
Alongside the HX5+ launch, Hyundai has also updated the HX4 variant by adding driver seat height adjustment, improving driving comfort and ergonomics a small but meaningful upgrade for daily city use.
WHY THIS UPDATE MATTERS
The compact SUV segment remains one of the most competitive in India. By introducing the HX5+ variant, Hyundai is clearly aiming to plug gaps in its line-up and cater to buyers who want modern features without stretching their budgets.
It’s a strategy that keeps the Hyundai Venue fresh, relevant, and competitive in a crowded market.
