Kia India has strengthened its presence in the compact SUV space with the introduction of a new, value-focused variant of the Syros. Called the HTK(EX), this new trim has been added to the line-up to bridge the gap between affordability and premium features. Priced at ₹9.89 lakh for petrol and ₹10.63 lakh for diesel (ex-showroom), the new variant brings a strong mix of design upgrades, modern technology and comprehensive safety, making the Syros range more appealing than ever.
With this update, Kia now offers the Syros in seven different trims, giving buyers greater flexibility to choose a version that fits both their budget and feature expectations.
KIA SYROS HTK(EX): A FRESH VALUE-DRIVEN ADDITION TO THE LING-UP

DESIGN & STYLE
Based on the HTK(O) variant, the new HTK(EX) trim immediately stands out with a more upmarket visual identity. Kia has added LED daytime running lights, LED headlamps and LED tail-lamps, enhancing both road presence and visibility. Completing the exterior upgrades are R16 alloy wheels, which add a sportier and more premium touch to the overall stance.
These design enhancements help the Syros project a stronger SUV character, while staying true to Kia’s “Opposites United” design philosophy that blends bold styling with everyday usability.

FEATURES, COMFORT & TECHNOLOGY
Inside the cabin, the HTK(EX) takes a noticeable step forward in comfort and convenience. Highlights include an electric sunroof, 31.2 cm (12.3-inch) touchscreen infotainment system, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, streamlined door handles, and a rear parking camera with sensors.
Kia continues to focus on space and everyday comfort, and the Syros reflects that with its airy cabin, refined interior finish and comfortable seating layout. Combined with class-leading boot space, the Syros positions itself as a practical yet premium choice for families and urban buyers alike.

SAFETY & POWERTRAIN OPTIONS
Safety remains one of the strongest pillars of the Syros. The HTK(EX) trim comes equipped with over 20 standard safety features, including six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control, Hill Start Assist and Vehicle Stability Management. Built on Kia’s reinforced K1 platform, the Syros also carries a 5-star BNCAP safety rating, reinforcing its credentials as a family-friendly SUV.
Further strengthening its appeal, Kia has now introduced a diesel powertrain option for the HTK(EX) trim, giving buyers more flexibility across fuel choices.
POSITIONING & MARKET IMPACT
With this strategic addition, Kia aims to make the Syros more accessible without compromising on the features and quality the brand is known for. The HTK(EX) trim is clearly designed for customers who want modern styling, a long equipment list and strong safety credentials without stepping into significantly higher price brackets.
The expansion of the Syros portfolio reflects Kia India’s customer-driven approach, aligning product decisions closely with evolving buyer expectations.
