Mahindra Truck and Bus has launched the all-new BLAZO i-TRK in India, introducing a new-generation heavy commercial truck built around the promise of “Profit Ka Rocket”. The truck combines fuel-efficiency technologies, a 324.44 Bhp mPOWER engine, connected fleet-management features and an industry-first 48-hour uptime guarantee to help transporters improve profitability and vehicle utilisation.

MAHINDRA BLAZO I-TRK PROMISES HIGHER PROFITABILITY

The BLAZO i-TRK is designed around three customer-focused assurances: Earn More, Run More and Control More. Mahindra claims up to 10% better fuel efficiency, with technologies such as AI-powered iFuelSmart, TurboMAXX and OptiFuel working together to reduce fuel consumption. The company says these savings could translate into up to ₹15 lakh* of additional profit per truck over five years.

The truck also gets an industry-first 48-hour Uptime Guarantee*. Mahindra says eligible customers can receive ₹10,000 per day* if the vehicle is not returned to the road within the committed 48-hour period.

320HP MPOWER ENGINE AND AI-POWERED IFUELSMART

Powering the entire BLAZO i-TRK range is Mahindra’s 7.2-litre mPOWER engine producing 324.44 HP and 1,100 Nm of torque. The engine uses TurboMAXX technology for improved airflow and combustion, while the OptiFuel air compressor is designed to reduce unnecessary power consumption.

A major highlight is iFuelSmart, which Mahindra describes as India’s first AI-enabled automatic drive mode in the heavy commercial vehicle segment. The system analyses factors including road gradients, payload conditions and driving requirements before selecting an appropriate driving mode to maintain fuel-efficient operation.

IMAXX 2.0 ADDS SMART FLEET CONTROL

The BLAZO i-TRK is also available with iMAXX 2.0, Mahindra’s connected vehicle platform. It provides real-time vehicle intelligence, predictive diagnostics, driver behaviour monitoring, service management and fleet insights through desktop and mobile interfaces.

Features include remote AC management, remote vehicle crank inhibit, air-filter clogging alerts, DPF performance alerts, Distance-to-Empty monitoring, FleetSense reports and ScoreMAXX driver-performance analytics. An optional two-way camera-based Driver Monitoring System is also available.

For drivers, the truck offers a suspended COMFiMAXX seat, EzyCruise cruise control, an AC cabin and a Bluetooth-enabled entertainment system. Mahindra’s NOW 24×7 mobile app further allows fleet owners to raise service requests, book appointments, access service history, request roadside assistance and order spare parts.

CONCLUSION

With its 320 HP engine, AI-based fuel-efficiency technology, connected fleet management and uptime-focused service ecosystem, the Mahindra BLAZO i-TRK is positioned as more than a conventional heavy commercial vehicle. Its focus on fuel savings, productivity and fleet control makes it a technology-led proposition for India’s transport and logistics operators.
