BYD India has introduced the new SEALION 7 Dynamic at an introductory price of ₹41.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The new variant provides a more accessible entry point into BYD’s premium electric SUV range while retaining the SEALION 7’s focus on performance, technology and everyday usability.
SEALION 7 DYNAMIC: PRICE AND PERFORMANCE
The BYD SEALION 7 Dynamic is powered by a 71.8kWh Blade Battery and has a claimed NEDC range of 520km. It can accelerate from 0-100kph in 7.3 seconds. The new variant joins the existing Premium and Performance versions, giving buyers three variants to choose from.
The Dynamic variant is available in four exterior colours:
Atlantis Grey,
Cosmos Black,
Aurora White and
Shark Grey.
FEATURES AND TECHNOLOGY
The SEALION 7 Dynamic uses BYD’s dedicated e-Platform 3.0 and features the Blade Battery and Cell-to-Body technology. It also gets Intelligence Torque Adaptation Control, a panoramic glass roof and a rotating touchscreen infotainment system.
The electric SUV also comes equipped with a range of safety and driver assistance technologies. Across the SEALION 7 lineup, customers can choose between 71.8kWh and 82.56kWh Blade Battery options depending on the variant.
FESTIVE BENEFITS FOR BUYERS
BYD is extending its ongoing ‘Celebrate Your Dreams with BYD’ festive campaign to the new Dynamic variant. Customers can receive a complimentary 7kW home charger with installation, a 10-year RSA coverage extension and an extended warranty of 10 years on the LFP LV battery or 1.5 lakh km, whichever comes earlier.
SEALION 7 CONTINUES TO GROW IN INDIA
Since its introduction in 2025, the BYD SEALION 7 has attracted strong customer demand, with more than 4,000 units currently in operation across India. The eSUV has also received multiple industry accolades, including a five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP and awards across premium EV and SUV categories.
