Kinetic EV has upgraded its iconic DX electric scooter with a larger LFP battery, improved range and additional convenience features. The new Kinetic DX+ 3.1 kWh is priced at ₹1.27 lakh (ex-showroom).

Kinetic EV has introduced the upgraded Kinetic DX and DX+ electric scooters, bringing a larger battery, enhanced performance and modern features to the iconic DX nameplate. The biggest update comes with the Kinetic DX+ 3.1 kWh, which now gets a 3.1 kWh LFP battery and a claimed 132 km IDC range on a single charge. The company says the real-world range is expected to be around 105–110 km, making it suited to everyday urban commuting. 

3.1 kWh Battery and 3.8 kW Motor

The Kinetic DX+ uses a 3.1 kWh LFP battery paired with a 3.8 kW peak-power hub-mounted BLDC motor. It also gets K-Coast Tech for power regeneration, which recovers energy during deceleration. Riders can choose between Range and Power riding modes depending on their requirements. 

Charging convenience is enhanced with the Easy Charge system, while the scooter can charge from 0–80% in approximately three hours. Other notable features include Park Assist with Reverse, IP67 water and dust protection and telematics. The DX+ also offers 37 litres of under-seat storage, along with a 220 mm front disc brake and 130 mm rear drum brake. 

Kinetic DX, DX+ Prices and Colours

The upgraded range is available in two variants. The Kinetic DX 3 kWh is priced at ₹1,18,599, while the Kinetic DX+ 3.1 kWh costs ₹1,27,650, both ex-showroom. The DX+ includes a retractable charging cable and telematics as part of the vehicle price. 

The Kinetic DX+ is available in Black, Silver, Blue, White and Red, while the DX 3 kWh gets Black and Silver colour options. 

Festive Offers

Kinetic is also offering special festive benefits, including ₹2,000 off on the DX 3 kWh and ₹3,000 off on the DX+. Customers can additionally get an ₹8,999 extended warranty on the DX+, ₹5,000 Amazon cashback and a ₹5,000 PME drive benefit. 

The upgraded DX+ combines Kinetic’s familiar metal-bodied design with a larger battery, increased range and technology-focused features, strengthening its appeal among urban electric scooter buyers.
