Spinny, India’s full-stack used-car platform, partnered with the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) at the 8th Auto Retail Conclave 2026 in New Delhi, bringing together policymakers, automotive industry leaders, dealers and ecosystem partners to discuss the changing dynamics of auto retail and mobility in India.

Held under the theme “Bharat in the Driver’s Seat – Inclusive Mobility, Inspired Growth,” the conclave focused on the evolving automotive ecosystem, changing consumer expectations and the role of technology in shaping the future of mobility. The event featured Union Minister for Heavy Industries & Steel Shri H. D. Kumaraswamy, Additional Secretary at the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways Mahmood Ahmed and senior automotive industry representatives.

Representing Spinny, Senior Vice President Gurveen Bedi spoke about the growing importance of vehicle exchange in modern auto retail. Bedi highlighted the need to help consumers receive better value for their used vehicles, while creating opportunities for dealerships to strengthen their used-car operations.

Spinny currently buys and sells around 15,000 cars every month and works with new and used-car dealerships as well as OEMs. Its full-stack ecosystem covers vehicle buying and selling, refurbishment, retail, auctions and servicing. According to the company, its exclusive partnership model can help dealerships unlock up to 3% additional value per car by addressing costs and operational leakages throughout the used-car lifecycle.

The company currently works with OEMs including Tata Motors, Nissan, Kia and Tesla, while planning to add more brands as it expands its vehicle exchange proposition.

The conclave also examined the broader mobility transition, including rising electric vehicle adoption. Discussions highlighted the importance of greater consistency in EV policies across states, alongside easier access to charging infrastructure, electricity and related approvals.

FADA President Sai Giridhar Raj Kumar noted that technology, consumer expectations, business models and mobility solutions are rapidly transforming automobile retail, while dealerships continue to play a key role in connecting the automotive industry with consumers.

For Spinny, the FADA partnership reflects its focus on strengthening the vehicle exchange ecosystem, improving value for customers and helping dealerships develop more efficient used-car operations.
