Aston Martin has introduced the new DBX GT, a luxury-focused interpretation of its high-performance SUV that combines enhanced comfort, handcrafted detailing and effortless performance. Unveiled on October 1, 2026, the DBX GT joins the performance-focused DBX S in expanding Aston Martin’s SUV portfolio, with the new model placing greater emphasis on refinement and everyday usability.

The DBX GT is designed around what Aston Martin describes as “quiet luxury.” Compared with the more assertive character of the DBX S, the GT features a more understated exterior while retaining the performance capability associated with the DBX range. Key exterior changes include a new double-vane grille, a two-piece metal side strake inspired by traditional watchmaking, body-coloured lower bumper, sills and rear diffuser, and new quad exhaust finishers.

The SUV rides on standard 22-inch forged wheels with all-season tyres, while an optional 23-inch wheel and tyre package is available for customers seeking a more performance-oriented appearance. Aston Martin says the standard wheel and tyre combination has been selected to improve ride compliance and reduce road noise.

Inside, the DBX GT receives redesigned front and rear seats with enhanced cushioning, revised bolstering and additional comfort-focused contours. A 10mm memory foam layer has been added to the seat cushions, while a new individual rear-seat layout provides two sculpted seating positions while retaining five-seat capability. Semi-aniline leather, deep-pile floor mats and intricate quilting, perforation and embroidery further enhance the cabin. Each front seat reportedly requires 691 metres of thread, 3,297 perforation holes and more than four and a half hours of craftsmanship.

A major focus of the DBX GT is cabin refinement. Aston Martin has added targeted sound-deadening materials, acoustic laminated rear side glass and improvements to cabin sealing. These changes result in a claimed 13% improvement in Articulation Index, aimed at making conversations and phone calls easier while driving.

Power comes from a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 727PS and 900Nm. The DBX GT accelerates from 0-60kmph in 3.1 seconds, reaches 100kmph in 3.3 seconds and has a claimed top speed of 310kmph. Power is sent through a nine-speed automatic transmission with a multi-plate wet clutch.

Chassis revisions include new damper calibration, unique internal damper valves, revised spring-rate behaviour and additional structural damping. The objective is to improve ride comfort over rough surfaces while maintaining body control and driver engagement.

Aston Martin says first deliveries of the new DBX GT are scheduled to begin in Q4 2026.
