Aprilia has unveiled the RS 660 Phillip Island Tribute, a special limited-edition version of its popular middleweight sports motorcycle, celebrating the Italian manufacturer’s racing success at the iconic Phillip Island circuit in Australia. The motorcycle has been introduced to mark the Australian Grand Prix and honour Aprilia Racing’s long-standing connection with the legendary track.

The Aprilia RS 660 Phillip Island Tribute features exclusive graphics and additional equipment that distinguish it from the standard RS 660. The special edition will be displayed at EICMA 2026 in Milan from 5 to 8 November, at the Aprilia booth in Hall 9.

The special edition celebrates Aprilia’s achievements at Phillip Island, where the manufacturer has secured ten victories across various classes of the MotoGP World Championship, alongside its successes in the World Superbike Championship with the RSV4. In 2025, Raúl Fernández’s MotoGP victory at the circuit on the RS-GP also helped Aprilia reach the historic milestone of 300 World Motorcycle Championship victories.

Exclusive Design and Special Edition Details

The RS 660 Phillip Island Tribute receives a distinctive white base colour complemented by green graphics on the side panels and tail section, along with red wheel rims. These colours are inspired by the Phillip Island circuit’s official logo.

The side panels feature the circuit layout, the ‘Phillip Island Circuit’ lettering and a chequered flag graphic. Other exclusive details include a fuel tank badge displaying Aprilia’s victory count at the circuit, an individual serial number on the steering head plate and a passenger seat cover included as standard.

Engine and Performance

Powering the special edition is the familiar 660cc, four-valve, parallel-twin engine from the standard RS 660. It produces 105 bhp at 10,400 rpm and 70 Nm of torque at 8,400 rpm. A 35 kW power-restricted version is also available.

The motorcycle retains Aprilia’s advanced electronic package, including the latest-generation aPRC system with traction control, wheelie control, engine braking control, cornering ABS and adjustable engine maps managed through ride-by-wire technology.

Additional equipment includes launch control, a bidirectional quickshifter, cruise control and a six-axis inertial platform.

The Aprilia RS 660 Phillip Island Tribute brings together the brand’s racing heritage, distinctive styling and established performance platform. With its limited-edition identity, it pays homage to a circuit that will leave the MotoGP calendar after 2026, with the championship moving away from Phillip Island from 2027.
