Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. has recorded an outstanding performance in October 2025, achieving total sales of 61,295 units, compared to 48,423 units in October 2024, reflecting a strong year-on-year growth of 27%. The company’s sales momentum was fueled by the festive season, which brought record-breaking wholesales and retails across the country.

During the month, Tata Motors reported its second consecutive record-breaking performance, maintaining a robust growth trajectory in both domestic and export markets. The surge in demand for SUVs and electric vehicles (EVs) played a crucial role in this achievement.

The company sold over 47,000 SUVs, marking the highest-ever 77% share of total monthly sales. Models like the Tata Nexon, Harrier, and Safari led the charge, with the Nexon alone witnessing an impressive 50% year-on-year growth, thanks to its wide range of multi-powertrain options, including petrol, diesel, CNG, and EV variants. The recently launched Adventure X editions of the Harrier and Safari also contributed significantly, with combined sales touching 7,000 units.

In the EV segment, Tata Motors registered its highest-ever monthly electric vehicle sales, reaching 9,286 units, a remarkable 73% increase compared to last year. The company attributed this growth to the expanding EV portfolio and strong customer preference for sustainable mobility options.

The festive period from Navratri to Diwali proved to be a milestone, as Tata Motors delivered over one lakh vehicles, reflecting a 33% year-on-year growth in festive deliveries. This surge highlights the brand’s growing popularity and trust among Indian consumers.

With the festive momentum and a robust product lineup, Tata Motors continues to set new benchmarks in the Indian automotive industry, showcasing its ability to combine performance, design, and technology to meet the evolving demands of modern car buyers.

Tata Motors also reported that monthly bookings reached an all-time high, indicating strong customer confidence in its diverse range of vehicles and multiple powertrain choices. With continued innovations, expanding EV offerings, and consistent focus on customer satisfaction, the company has further strengthened its leadership in the passenger vehicle segment.
