Yamaha Motor India has expanded the colour palette of the Yamaha XSR 155 with the launch of a new Metallic Black option. Priced at ₹1.59 lakh (ex-showroom), the latest shade adds a stealthy and premium aesthetic to the neo retro motorcycle lineup.
The introduction of Metallic Black follows a recent price revision for the XSR 155 range. With this addition, the motorcycle is now available in five colour choices. Notably, Metallic Black and Metallic Blue are the only variants to feature a striking golden USD (Upside Down) front fork, enhancing the bike’s retro modern appeal.
UPDATED VARIANT PRICING
Yamaha now offers the XSR 155 at the following ex-showroom prices:
- Metallic Blue – ₹1,49,990
- Vivid Red – ₹1,52,990
- Metallic Grey – ₹1,56,990
- Greyish Green Metallic – ₹1,58,990
- Metallic Black – ₹1,58,990
The Metallic Black option is among the highest priced variants in the lineup, positioned alongside Greyish Green Metallic.
ENGINE AND HARDWARE REMAIN UNCHANGED
Mechanically, the XSR 155 continues unchanged. It is powered by a 155cc liquid cooled, single cylinder engine equipped with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA), producing 18.3HP and 14.2 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a slipper clutch for smoother downshifts.

Built on Yamaha’s Deltabox frame, the motorcycle rides on 17 inch wheels and comes with an aluminium swingarm, USD front forks, and a rear monoshock. Dual channel ABS and Traction Control are standard, reinforcing rider safety and confidence.
With the addition of Metallic Black, Yamaha strengthens the XSR 155’s positioning as a stylish urban motorcycle that blends classic design cues with modern engineering and performance focused features.
