Norton Motorcycles has officially unveiled the ultra-exclusive Manx R First Edition, the most premium and collector-focused version of its flagship superbike lineup. Limited to just 150 units worldwide, the new Manx R First Edition showcases British craftsmanship, exotic materials, and race-inspired engineering aimed at enthusiasts seeking exclusivity and performance.
The Norton Manx R First Edition builds upon the already high-spec Manx R Signature variant, which is priced at GBP 38,750 (approximately ₹49.8 lakh) in the UK. While Norton has not yet revealed official pricing for the First Edition, the company has confirmed that interested buyers will receive pricing details upon request. Given the premium upgrades, the First Edition is expected to command a significantly higher price tag.
One of the biggest highlights of the Norton Manx R First Edition is its extensive use of titanium components. The motorcycle features titanium chassis, engine, and bodywork fixings, along with a titanium Akrapovic road-legal exhaust system designed to reduce weight while enhancing performance and sound.
The superbike also gets carbon fibre wheels and body panels, contributing to its lightweight construction and aggressive styling. Norton has further equipped the motorcycle with billet-machined aluminium components, including brake and clutch levers, rider foot controls, heel guards, bar-ends, reservoir caps, and inspection caps.
Visually, the Manx R First Edition receives several bespoke design touches. These include exclusive numbered top yokes, Union Jack-inspired airbrushed side infill panels, unique First Edition decals, and an embroidered quilted leather seat. The bike also features a special start-up animation sequence displayed through the headlights and dashboard, adding to its premium appeal.
Norton says buyers will also have access to unique colourway options, making each motorcycle even more exclusive. With its handcrafted detailing, advanced lightweight materials, and limited production run, the Norton Manx R First Edition is positioned as a true collector-grade superbike.
The launch of the Manx R First Edition further strengthens Norton’s presence in the ultra-premium motorcycle segment, competing with exotic machines from brands like Ducati, MV Agusta, and Bimota.
