Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles has officially launched the Next Gen Tiago and Tiago.ev in India, bringing major updates in design, technology, safety, and affordability to the popular hatchback lineup. The new Tata Tiago starts at ₹4.69 lakh, while the Tiago.ev is priced from ₹6.99 lakh for full ownership, making it one of the most accessible electric hatchbacks in the country.

Built on the trust of more than 7 lakh customers over the past decade, the Next Gen Tiago range has been designed to offer modern styling, premium interiors, advanced connected technology, and improved ownership economics. Tata Motors says the new models focus on five core pillars, WOW Looks, WOW Tech, WOW Choices, WOW Economics, and WOW Safety.

The updated Tata Tiago gets refreshed styling with Lux Beam LED headlamps, connected Halo Lightbar tail lamps, new alloy wheels, and a stronger road presence. The cabin now features a redesigned dashboard with dual screens, a new SportLuxe steering wheel, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 26.03cm HD touchscreen infotainment system, and iRA connected car technology with over 35 smart features.

The Tiago.ev receives similar upgrades while focusing heavily on practicality and EV accessibility. Tata Motors claims the electric hatchback can add up to 100km of range in just 18 minutes with fast charging support. The EV also introduces a Lifetime HV Battery Warranty, making it one of the most customer-friendly EV ownership packages in the Indian market.

In terms of safety, both models come equipped with segment-first features like a 360-degree surround view camera and Blind View Monitor. The Tiago.ev additionally gets 6 airbags and electronic stability systems as standard.

Tata Motors is also offering multiple powertrain options, including Petrol MT, Petrol AMT, iCNG MT, iCNG AMT, and EV variants. The company says the Tiago.ev is designed to make electric mobility financially viable, with lower running costs and flexible Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) ownership plans starting at ₹4.69 lakh plus battery subscription charges.

With a strong focus on affordability, safety, connected technology, and multi-powertrain flexibility, the Next Gen Tiago and Tiago.ev aim to redefine expectations in India’s hatchback segment while strengthening Tata Motors’ position in both ICE and electric mobility markets.
