KTM has officially unveiled the 2027 KTM 790 DUKE, introducing a range of updates that further sharpen its appeal in the competitive middleweight naked motorcycle segment. Known for its agile handling and aggressive character, the latest version arrives with refreshed styling, improved technology, upgraded braking hardware and chassis enhancements aimed at delivering a more engaging riding experience.
The updated motorcycle adopts design cues from KTM’s larger DUKE models, giving it a more aggressive road presence. A redesigned fuel tank, sharper body panels and a revised front-end contribute to a bolder appearance while also improving rider ergonomics and overall comfort.
799CC PARALLEL-TWIN ENGINE CONTINUES
Powering the 2027 KTM 790 DUKE is the familiar 799cc LC8c parallel-twin engine that produces 105 hp and 87 Nm of torque. KTM has retained the engine’s strong low-end response and lively top-end performance, making it suitable for both everyday riding and spirited weekend runs.
The engine continues to be paired with a six-speed gearbox and a range of electronic rider aids designed to maximize performance while maintaining rider confidence.

REVISED CHASSIS AND SUSPENSION PACKAGE
KTM has made several changes to the chassis setup for 2027. The motorcycle now benefits from updated WP APEX suspension components with simplified adjustment settings. Riders can easily fine-tune compression and rebound damping through a user-friendly five-click adjustment system.
The rear suspension has also been revised with increased travel and a slightly longer shock absorber, helping improve stability, comfort and overall ride quality across different road conditions.

NEW WP BRAKING SYSTEM DEBUTS
One of the most significant upgrades comes in the form of a new WP braking system developed entirely in-house. The setup features twin 300 mm front discs paired with radial-mounted four-piston calipers, offering improved braking feel, stronger stopping power and enhanced rider confidence.
KTM claims the new system reduces lever effort while delivering more consistent braking performance during aggressive riding.
ENHANCED ELECTRONICS AND TFT DISPLAY
The electronics package has also received attention. The motorcycle now features an updated 5-inch TFT display with improved menu navigation and a more intuitive interface. Multiple ride modes, cornering ABS, launch control, anti-wheelie control and Track Mode continue to be part of the comprehensive rider assistance package.
KTM has also redesigned the LED headlight and improved dashboard usability to offer a more premium user experience.
SHARPER THAN EVER
Additional highlights include a 13.5-litre fuel tank, Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres, a lightweight aluminium subframe and KTM’s four-year premium manufacturer warranty. With its blend of performance, technology and aggressive styling, the 2027 KTM 790 DUKE aims to remain one of the benchmark motorcycles in the middleweight naked bike category.
