BYD India has announced revised prices for select variants across its electric passenger vehicle portfolio, with the updated ex-showroom prices coming into effect from July 1, 2026. Alongside the price revision, the company has also expanded its lineup by introducing a new Comfort variant of the BYD eMAX 7 equipped with a larger battery pack.
Price Revision Across Select Models
The latest revision affects selected variants of the BYD ATTO 3, BYD SEALION 7 and BYD SEAL. Depending on the model, prices have increased by between ₹50,000 and ₹1,00,000. However, the company confirmed that some variants of the BYD ATTO 3 and the BYD eMAX 7 will continue to be offered at their existing prices.
According to BYD India, the revision has been introduced in response to rising input costs, inflationary pressures and the company’s continued investments in expanding its dealership network and introducing advanced technologies for Indian customers.
New BYD eMAX 7 Comfort Variant
Alongside the revised pricing, BYD India has unveiled a new BYD eMAX 7 Comfort variant with a starting price of ₹27.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The new version features an upgraded 71.8 kWh battery pack, providing customers with an additional option in the company’s growing electric MPV portfolio.
Technology and Growing Presence
BYD continues to highlight its in-house technologies, including the Blade Battery, Cell-to-Body (CTB) architecture and Intelligence Torque Adaptation Control (iTAC), which are designed to improve safety, efficiency and overall driving performance. The company has also introduced its global DM-i plug-in hybrid technology in India, marking its entry into the country’s hybrid passenger vehicle segment.
With a portfolio that spans premium electric SUVs, sedans and family-oriented MPVs, BYD aims to cater to a wide range of customers seeking advanced electric mobility solutions.
Expanding Network
BYD India currently operates 48 showrooms across 40 cities and continues to strengthen its nationwide presence to improve customer accessibility, faster deliveries and after-sales support. The company says it has already served more than 14,000 customers in India since entering the passenger electric vehicle market.
Globally, BYD has sold over 16.5 million new energy vehicles and continues to invest in sustainable mobility technologies. With the latest pricing revision and product expansion, the company aims to balance rising operational costs while continuing to offer advanced electric mobility solutions for Indian buyers.
