Ferrari has unveiled the limited-edition 12Cilindri Manuale, introducing an entirely new way to experience one of its most iconic naturally aspirated V12 grand tourers. Limited to just 1,499 examples worldwide, the latest special series combines classic driver engagement with advanced technology through Ferrari’s newly developed Manuale By-Wire system, offering enthusiasts the emotional appeal of a traditional manual gearbox without sacrificing the sophistication of the brand’s modern dual-clutch transmission.
MANUALE BY-WIRE REDEFINES DRIVER ENGAGEMENT

At the heart of the Ferrari 12Cilindri Manuale is the innovative Manuale By-Wire system, developed entirely in-house at Maranello. Instead of relying on a conventional mechanical linkage, the new technology digitally recreates the sensation of a traditional manual gearbox through a precisely engineered gear lever and clutch-by-wire pedal. Ferrari has carefully calibrated the tactile feedback, resistance and movement of every shift to provide an authentic analogue driving experience while maintaining the precision and reliability of its acclaimed eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. Drivers can enjoy complete manual control across six forward gears or switch to automatic mode whenever convenience is preferred.
ICONIC V12 PERFORMANCE REMAINS UNCHANGED

Power continues to come from Ferrari’s naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 engine producing 830 cv and 678 Nm of torque. Capable of revving to an astonishing 9,500 rpm, the engine delivers the unmistakable soundtrack and linear power delivery that have defined Ferrari’s flagship grand tourers for decades. Performance figures remain extraordinary, with the 12Cilindri Manuale sprinting from 0-100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds before reaching a top speed of more than 340 km/h, proving that traditional driving involvement can still coexist with cutting-edge performance.
DESIGN INSPIRED BY FERRARI’S HERITAGE

Inside the cabin, Ferrari has reintroduced one of its most celebrated design elements—the classic open-gate gear selector. Reimagined for the digital age, the aluminium shift gate, round gear knob and redesigned centre console pay tribute to Ferrari’s manual transmission icons while blending seamlessly with the contemporary interior. Tailor Made personalization further enhances exclusivity through unique leather, Alcantara, forged wheels and heritage-inspired exterior colours, allowing owners to create highly individual examples of the limited-production model.
LIMITED PRODUCTION WITH EXCLUSIVE DETAILS

Production is strictly limited to 1,499 cars, a number chosen to commemorate the displacement of Ferrari’s very first V12 engine introduced in 1947. Special touches include laser-etched side badges, engraved aluminium door sills, dedicated forged alloy wheels and exclusive Tailor Made specifications developed specifically for the Manuale edition. Ferrari has also created optional liveries inspired by the six-speed transmission, reinforcing the car’s unique identity among collectors and enthusiasts.
ANALOGUE EMOTION FOR A DIGITAL AGE

With the 12Cilindri Manuale, Ferrari has successfully revived one of the purest forms of driving enjoyment while embracing the advantages of modern engineering. Rather than recreating the past, the Manuale By-Wire system reinterprets it, offering drivers the involvement of a manual gearbox alongside the performance, refinement and reliability expected from a contemporary Ferrari. As naturally aspirated V12 engines become increasingly rare, the limited-edition Ferrari 12Cilindri Manuale stands as both a celebration of the brand’s heritage and a glimpse into how classic driving experiences can evolve for the future.
