Mini has launched the Cooper Convertible Stardust Edition in India at an ex-showroom price of ₹62.90 lakh. Based on the standard Cooper Convertible, the new special edition commands a premium of ₹3.90 lakh and brings exclusive cosmetic enhancements while retaining the same engine and feature list. The model is available as a completely built-up unit (CBU), with bookings now open through the official Mini India website and deliveries already underway.

EXCLUSIVE EXTERIOR STYLING

The Stardust Edition stands out with its exclusive Sparkling Copper Grey paint finish, Vibrant Silver ORVM caps and matching 18-inch JCW Rallye Spoke alloy wheels. The electrically operated fabric roof features a distinctive Union Jack design and can be opened in just 18 seconds at speeds of up to 30 km/h. Boot capacity stands at 160 litres with the roof folded and expands to 215 litres when closed.

FEATURE-RICH CABIN

The interior remains identical to the standard Cooper Convertible, featuring a 9.4-inch circular OLED touchscreen running Mini OS 9. Other highlights include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Harman Kardon premium sound system, wireless phone charging, a head-up display, automatic climate control and a heated steering wheel. Safety equipment includes Level 1 ADAS, ABS, dynamic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring and a rear-view camera.

Power comes from the familiar 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 204 hp and 300 Nm. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, enabling the convertible to sprint from 0-100 km/h in a claimed 6.9 seconds before reaching a top speed of 240 km/h. The Stardust Edition also offers a claimed fuel efficiency of 16.82 km/l, making it slightly more efficient than the standard model.
