The Jaguar Type 01 interior introduces the brand’s new design philosophy through a dramatic central spine that runs the length of the cabin. This longitudinal element creates four individual spaces while giving the interior a distinctive architectural character. The low seating position is designed to provide a cossetting and confidence-inspiring driving environment.

The cabin’s visual theme draws inspiration from the enduring beauty of travertine stone and the rich textures of artisan textiles. A brass-inspired finish is incorporated into the central spine and repeated along the tops of the doors, with Jaguar leaper detailing forming part of these signature interior elements.

Jaguar has also taken a minimalist approach to the dashboard, integrating technology into the overall interior architecture rather than allowing screens and controls to dominate the cabin. The slim dashboard and flowing surfaces contribute to the clean design, while digital interfaces are positioned to provide technology when required.

One of the key technology highlights is the digital ClearSight Rear View Display, positioned centrally at the base of the windscreen and aligned with the door mirrors. The system is designed to help the driver maintain focus while providing rearward visibility.

Concealed compartments, hidden-until-needed technologies and carefully integrated details add to the Type 01’s sense of drama. Jaguar says the approach is intended to make every journey feel like an occasion while combining sophisticated technology with a distinctive luxury GT driving position.
