Škoda has unveiled its upcoming flagship SUV, the Škoda Peaq, showcasing a strong focus on space, comfort, and advanced technology. Positioned as the largest vehicle to be produced at the brand’s Mladá Boleslav facility, the Peaq is set to redefine expectations in the large SUV segment with both internal combustion and fully electric powertrain options.

The model recently made its first public appearance in camouflaged form around Lake Como, offering an early glimpse of its design and capabilities. With a length of 4.9 metres, the Peaq promises a commanding road presence and enhanced practicality.

LARGE DIMENSIONS AND PRACTICAL DESIGN

The Škoda Peaq stands out with its generous proportions, including a long wheelbase of 2,965 mm, ensuring ample interior space for passengers. The SUV will be available in both five and seven seat configurations, making it a versatile option for families and long distance travel.

In terms of practicality, the Peaq offers the largest boot capacity in Škoda’s lineup, with 1,010 litres available in the five seat configuration and 299 litres in the seven-seat version. Additionally, a 37-litre front trunk (frunk) further enhances storage capabilities.

PREMIUM INTERIOR WITH WELLNESS FEATURES

Inside, the Peaq introduces a new level of comfort and innovation. The cabin is designed with multiple interior themes, featuring sustainable materials like Techtona alongside premium upholstery options.

A standout highlight is the new Relax Package, which includes AGR certified ergonomic seats with massage functions and electrically adjustable footrests. Complementing this is a Wellness App offering guided breathing and meditation exercises, transforming the cabin into a calming environment for passengers.

The SUV also delivers a premium audio experience through a partnership with Sonos, ensuring immersive sound quality. Additionally, a panoramic roof with electrochromic glass allows users to adjust transparency without a physical sunshade.

ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY AND INFOTAINMENT

Škoda Peaq is equipped with a modern digital interface, featuring a 13.6 inch vertical infotainment display with haptic touch controls. The driver benefits from a 10 inch digital instrument cluster and an optional augmented reality head up display, enhancing both convenience and safety.

The SUV runs on a new Android based software platform, ensuring seamless connectivity and future ready functionality. Additional innovations include integrated washer nozzles within the wiper arms, improving windshield cleaning efficiency.

LONG RANGE AND ELECTRIC PERFORMANCE

Built on an extended MEB platform, the Peaq offers multiple powertrain options, including electric variants with outputs ranging from 150 kW to 220 kW. The entry level model delivers a range exceeding 460 km, while higher variants are expected to surpass 600 km on a single charge.

The top-spec 90x variant features all wheel drive with dual electric motors, ensuring improved performance and traction. Fast charging capabilities and advanced features such as Vehicle to Load (V2L) and Vehicle to Home/Grid (V2H/G) further enhance its practicality for modern users.

A NEW FLAGSHIP FOR ŠKODA

With its combination of space, advanced technology, and long range electric capabilities, the Škoda Peaq is positioned as a flagship SUV designed for modern mobility needs. It reflects Škoda’s vision of blending practicality with innovation, offering customers a compelling option in the growing large SUV segment.
