MINI has partnered with Austrian design studio Vagabund to unveil two exclusive one off MINI Countryman show cars that blend adventure, music, and community culture. This unique collaboration transforms the traditional SUV into a creative lifestyle platform, highlighting MINI’s strong focus on individuality and customization.
TWO UNIQUE ONE-OFF MINI COUNTRYMAN SHOW CARS INSPIRED BY MUSIC, ADVENTURE AND COMMUNITY CULTURE

The MINI x Vagabund collaboration brings a fresh perspective to automotive design by combining creative storytelling with real world functionality. Both vehicles are based on the MINI Countryman platform but are reimagined as expressive show cars that reflect festival culture and social interaction.
DISTINCT DESIGN IDENTITIES WITH SHARED DNA

The two vehicles showcase contrasting personalities while sharing the same foundation. One model, finished in Melting Silver with sand and white accents, delivers a playful and vibrant look. The other, in Midnight Black, adopts a bold and technical appearance. Together, they create a striking visual contrast that enhances their impact when displayed side by side.
TRANSFORMED INTO A MOBILE SOUND EXPERIENCE

A standout feature of these one off models is their integration of a custom built sound system. The rear side windows have been replaced with specially engineered speaker units designed for outdoor sound projection. With polymer granite speaker housings, integrated tweeters, and powerful subwoofers, the vehicles can function as independent sound systems or combine to form a full mobile stage.
DESIGN MEETS FUNCTIONAL INNOVATION

The vehicles feature widened wheel arches, increased ride height, and 20-inch wheels with 3D printed covers inspired by audio equipment design. A custom roof rack made from laser cut aluminium adds both practicality and visual appeal, reinforcing the adventurous theme of the concept.
A PLATFORM FOR COMMUNITY AND SELF EXPRESSION

MINI and Vagabund have positioned these show cars as more than just vehicles they are platforms for community interaction and cultural exchange. The inclusion of retro inspired elements, such as a Walkman style feature, blends nostalgia with modern innovation, emphasizing creativity and individuality.
FUTURE VISION OF MINI DESIGN
Although these models are not intended for production, they reflect MINI’s forward thinking approach to design and user experience. The vehicles will make their public debut at Auto China 2026 in Beijing, showcasing how cars can evolve into lifestyle driven, experience focused platforms.
