Tesla has expanded its Indian portfolio with the launch of the Model Y Long Wheelbase, targeting premium EV buyers who want more space, comfort, and long distance usability without sacrificing performance. Priced at ₹61.99 lakh (ex-showroom), this new variant brings a practical twist to Tesla’s popular electric SUV by introducing a longer wheelbase and a more family focused cabin layout.

The standout upgrade in the Model Y Long Wheelbase is its extended dimensions. With a wheelbase that is 179 mm longer than the standard version, the SUV offers significantly improved cabin space.

Tesla has introduced a new 6-seat configuration featuring second row captain seats, enhancing comfort for rear passengers. This makes the SUV more suitable for chauffeur driven buyers as well as families who prioritize comfort during long journeys.

The improved cabin layout also ensures better legroom and easier access to the third row, making it a strong contender for both urban commutes and highway travel.
