Volkswagen has officially previewed the new Golf R 24H show car ahead of its return to the legendary Nürburgring 24 Hours endurance race. Developed in collaboration with Max Kruse Racing, the aggressive new machine celebrates 25 years of Volkswagen’s iconic ‘R’ performance division while showcasing a more extreme and motorsport inspired evolution of the Golf R.

The Nürburgring 24 Hours is widely regarded as one of the toughest endurance races in the world, and Volkswagen’s latest concept clearly signals its ambitions to dominate the demanding German racetrack once again. With bold aerodynamic enhancements, lightweight engineering, and track focused upgrades, the Golf R 24H already looks ready for competition.

BUILT FOR THE GREEN HELL

Nicknamed the “Green Hell,” the Nürburgring Nordschleife is famous for pushing cars and drivers to their limits. To tackle the challenging circuit, Volkswagen has equipped the Golf R 24H with several aggressive visual and performance oriented modifications.
