Range Rover has officially launched the all-new Range Rover Sport SV in India at an ex-showroom price of ₹2.05 crore. The flagship performance SUV arrives with the benefits of the India-UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA) applied, making it approximately ₹30 lakh more affordable than the limited-run SV Edition Two previously offered in the country.
Despite the lower pricing, the new Sport SV retains the same high-performance mechanical package as the Edition Two. Power comes from a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine paired with mild-hybrid technology, producing a massive 635 bhp and 750Nm of torque. The luxury SUV can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in a claimed 3.8 seconds, placing it among the fastest SUVs currently on sale in India.
The Range Rover Sport SV has been designed to combine supercar-level performance with signature British luxury and practicality. It features an aggressive yet elegant design language with five exclusive exterior paint options including Green Satin, Orange Matte, Blue Gloss, Violet Matte, and Teal Gloss. The SUV also gets large 22-inch forged alloy wheels, a contrasting black roof, and a sliding panoramic sunroof that further enhance its premium appeal.
Inside the cabin, the Sport SV offers an ultra-luxurious experience with SV-exclusive performance seats, premium Windsor leather upholstery, and a Meridian surround sound system. The cabin is designed to deliver maximum comfort while maintaining a sporty and driver-focused atmosphere.
The introduction of the Sport SV further strengthens Range Rover’s position in the ultra-luxury performance SUV segment. With its combination of high-end luxury, advanced technology, and immense power output, the SUV directly rivals performance-focused models like the Lamborghini Urus, Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT, and Aston Martin DBX707.
The launch also reflects the growing impact of the India-UK trade agreement on premium automotive pricing, allowing luxury brands to offer high-performance imported vehicles at relatively more competitive price points.
The new Range Rover Sport SV is now available for bookings across authorised dealerships in India.
