JSW MG Motor India has officially launched the all-new MG MAJESTOR in the Indian market, introducing what the company calls India’s first D+ SUV. Designed to combine luxury, advanced technology and hardcore off-road capability, the MG MAJESTOR enters the premium full-size SUV segment with prices starting at ₹40.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

The MG MAJESTOR 4×2 Automatic Top Trim is priced at ₹40.99 lakh and is available in both 6-seat and 7-seat layouts. Meanwhile, the fully loaded 4×4 Automatic Top Trim costs ₹44.99 lakh and is offered exclusively in a 7-seat configuration.

Powering the MAJESTOR is a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine that produces 215.5 PS of power and 478.5 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and is offered in both 2WD and advanced 4WD variants. MG claims the intelligent 4WD system features 10 off-road modes and can automatically switch between 2WD and 4WD depending on terrain and traction conditions.

One of the biggest highlights of the MG MAJESTOR is its off-road-focused hardware. The SUV becomes the first in its segment to offer triple differential locks — front, rear and centre. It also gets Crawl Control Mode, 219 mm ground clearance and an impressive 810 mm water wading capability, making it one of the most capable off-road SUVs in its category.

In terms of dimensions, the MAJESTOR measures 5046 mm in length, 2016 mm in width and 1870 mm in height, along with a massive 2950 mm wheelbase. Exterior highlights include a Mosaic Matrix grille, Dragon Eye LED DRLs, connected LED tail lamps and 19-inch alloy wheels.

Inside the cabin, MG has equipped the MAJESTOR with ventilated and massaging seats, dual 12.3-inch displays, a panoramic sunroof, 64-colour ambient lighting, a 12-speaker JBL sound system, dual wireless chargers and more than 75 connected car features. Safety equipment includes Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree HD camera, Electronic Stability Program and Hill Descent Control.

Bookings for the MG MAJESTOR are now open across India via authorised dealerships and MG’s official website.
