Toyota Gazoo Racing has officially revealed the all-new GRMN Corolla, the most extreme and performance-focused version of the GR Corolla ever created. Developed using lessons learned from endurance racing, the Super Taikyu Series, and extensive testing at Germany’s legendary Nürburgring circuit, the GRMN Corolla represents the pinnacle of Toyota’s motorsport engineering.

Designed to deliver exceptional driver engagement and maximum performance, the GRMN Corolla features Toyota’s turbocharged 1.6-litre three-cylinder G16E-GTS engine producing 304 hp and an increased 415 Nm of torque, which is 15 Nm more than the standard GR Corolla. Power is sent to all four wheels through Toyota’s GR-FOUR all-wheel-drive system and a close-ratio six-speed manual transmission.

One of the biggest highlights of the new GRMN Corolla is its extensive weight-saving program. Toyota has removed the rear seats, transforming the hot hatch into a dedicated two-seater performance machine. Combined with lightweight components and chassis optimization, the GRMN Corolla weighs approximately 30 kg less than the standard model, resulting in a sharper power-to-weight ratio and enhanced track performance.

Aerodynamics have also received a significant upgrade. The GRMN Corolla features a carbon-fibre bonnet, carbon-fibre front fenders, front side spoilers, hood ducts, fender ducts, and an adjustable carbon-fibre rear wing. These components were developed and tested through Toyota’s motorsport programs to maximize downforce, cooling efficiency, and high-speed stability.

Handling improvements come from exclusive monotube suspension dampers, revised steering calibration, optimized GR-FOUR AWD tuning, and wider 245/40ZR18 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres. Toyota engineers spent countless hours refining the setup at the Nürburgring to ensure confidence-inspiring performance on both road and track.

Inside, the GRMN Corolla receives exclusive full bucket seats, a Morizo-signed instrument panel, carbon-fibre trim elements, flocked dashboard surfaces, and a unique serial-number plaque. The driver-focused cockpit has been designed to maximize concentration and connection between the driver and the car.

Toyota plans to offer the GRMN Corolla in limited numbers across Japan, North America, and Australia, with sales expected to begin in 2027. Alongside the GRMN Corolla, Toyota also confirmed that a five-seat GR Corolla MORIZO RR equipped with the Gazoo Racing Direct Automatic Transmission is currently under development.

With motorsport-derived technology, aggressive aerodynamics, and a focus on pure driving excitement, the GRMN Corolla stands as the ultimate expression of Toyota Gazoo Racing’s hot hatch philosophy.
