Audi has officially revealed the all-new Audi Nuvolari, a limited-production hybrid supercar that marks a significant milestone in the brand’s performance and technology journey. Combining Formula 1-inspired engineering with cutting-edge hybrid technology, the Nuvolari is set to become the fastest and most powerful production vehicle in Audi’s history.

Powered by a high-performance hybrid powertrain producing a staggering 1,001 PS (736 kW), the Audi Nuvolari pairs a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine with three axial-flux electric motors. The result is breathtaking performance figures, including a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 2.6 seconds, a 0-200 kmph run in 6.8 seconds, and a top speed exceeding 350 kmph.

Audi says the Nuvolari incorporates several technologies derived directly from Formula 1, including advanced active aerodynamics, predictive all-wheel-drive dynamics, hybrid energy management, and lightweight carbon-fibre construction. The vehicle also debuts the next-generation ‘quattro predictive ride’ system, which uses real-time sensor data to optimize torque distribution, braking, and aerodynamic performance for maximum grip and stability.

The supercar’s design follows Audi’s new design philosophy, featuring a mid-engine layout, sculpted surfaces, integrated aerodynamic elements, and extensive use of carbon fibre. A newly developed Audi Space Frame combined with a carbon exterior helps reduce weight while enhancing structural rigidity and handling precision.

Inside, the Nuvolari adopts a driver-focused cockpit with minimalist architecture, lightweight carbon-fibre seats, anodized aluminium accents, and a motorsport-inspired interface designed to keep essential information within the driver’s field of view.

Audi has also equipped the Nuvolari with a Formula 1-inspired active rear wing featuring a Drag Reduction System (DRS), capable of generating more than 400 kg of downforce under high-performance driving conditions. The hybrid system is supported by advanced regenerative braking technology and a new Audi Ceramic Pro braking system designed to withstand extreme track use.

Limited to just 499 units globally, deliveries of the Audi Nuvolari are scheduled to begin in the first half of 2027. Named after legendary Italian racing driver Tazio Nuvolari, the new supercar represents Audi’s boldest expression of performance, innovation, and motorsport heritage to date.
