Audi has officially revealed the all-new 2026 Audi A6 allroad, introducing the fifth generation of its versatile premium wagon. Combining luxury, performance and genuine off-road capability, the latest A6 allroad arrives with a significantly wider body, electrified powertrains, adaptive air suspension and, for the first time, a plug-in hybrid variant. 

Designed for drivers who demand both everyday comfort and adventure-ready performance, the new Audi A6 allroad builds upon nearly three decades of allroad heritage while embracing Audi’s latest electrification and digital technologies.

More Rugged and More Striking Than Ever

One of the most noticeable changes is the A6 allroad’s dramatically enhanced road presence. Audi has widened the body by 111 mm compared to the standard A6 Avant, giving the wagon a muscular appearance that is further emphasized by flared wheel arches, larger wheels and distinctive allroad styling elements. 

The model measures 5,016 mm in length and offers increased track widths front and rear, contributing to improved stability and handling. Standard 19-inch alloy wheels can be upgraded to 21-inch wheels, while allroad-specific body cladding, underbody protection and hexagonal design elements reinforce its rugged character. 

Audi offers eight exterior colors, including Plateau Gray, Madeira Brown, Midnight Green, Firmament Blue and Glacier White, allowing buyers to customize their adventure-focused wagon.

Adaptive Air Suspension Delivers Genuine Off-Road Capability

A key feature of the 2026 Audi A6 allroad is its specially developed adaptive air suspension system. The suspension provides 55 mm of ride-height adjustment, enabling drivers to adapt the vehicle for highways, urban environments and challenging terrain. 

Compared to the A6 Avant, the A6 allroad rides 34 mm higher as standard and can raise itself even further in dedicated Offroad and Offroad+ modes. A lift function adds an additional 20 mm of ground clearance when tackling rough surfaces such as gravel roads, snow-covered trails or uneven terrain. 

Audi has also enhanced the steering system with a stiffer setup and improved feedback. Optional all-wheel steering increases agility at lower speeds and improves stability during highway driving.

First-Ever Audi A6 allroad Plug-In Hybrid

For the first time in the model’s history, Audi is offering the A6 allroad with a plug-in hybrid powertrain.

The new A6 allroad e-hybrid quattro combines a 2.0-liter TFSI gasoline engine producing 252 horsepower with an electric motor generating up to 105 kW. Together, the system delivers an impressive 367 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque.

The hybrid system features EV and Hybrid driving modes, regenerative braking adjustment via steering-wheel paddles and intelligent energy management designed to maximize efficiency.

Powerful V6 Diesel with Mild-Hybrid Technology

Customers seeking long-distance capability can choose the 3.0-liter V6 TDI quattro variant.

The diesel powertrain generates 299 horsepower and 580 Nm of torque while incorporating Audi’s advanced MHEV Plus mild-hybrid technology. The system includes a belt alternator starter, powertrain generator and electric-powered compressor, helping deliver faster throttle response and greater efficiency. 

Performance figures include:

• 0-100 kmph in 5.4 seconds
• 250 kmph top speed
• Up to 24 horsepower of electric assistance
• Regenerative braking capability up to 25 kW 

Audi says the electric-powered compressor virtually eliminates turbo lag, delivering acceleration characteristics similar to an electric vehicle.

The cabin centers around Audi’s curved OLED-based MMI Panoramic Display, which includes:

Audi has confirmed that the new 2026 Audi A6 allroad will be available for order starting June 18, 2026.

Deliveries are scheduled to begin at Audi dealerships in autumn 2026.
