TATA.ev has officially launched the all-new Sierra.ev in India, marking the return of one of the country’s most iconic SUV nameplates in an all-electric avatar. Combining premium design, advanced technology, real-world driving range and all-wheel-drive capability, the Sierra.ev aims to redefine expectations in the growing electric SUV market.

INTRODUCTORY PRICING AND AVAILABILITY

The Sierra.ev is available at an introductory starting price of ₹18.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings have officially opened, while customer deliveries are scheduled to begin from July 15, 2026. Tata Motors positions the SUV as a premium offering that combines everyday practicality with next-generation electric mobility.

REAL-WORLD RANGE AND FAST CHARGING

The flagship 75kWh battery pack delivers a claimed C75 real-world driving range of over 500km, with Tata estimating between 510km and 530km under typical driving conditions. The SUV also supports ultra-fast DC charging, allowing drivers to add approximately 263km of range in just 15 minutes, while charging from 20 to 80 percent takes around 26 minutes.

Tata is also offering a lifetime high-voltage battery warranty for the first owner, reinforcing confidence in long-term EV ownership.

PERFORMANCE AND AWD CAPABILITY

Built on Tata’s advanced Acti.ev+ pure EV platform, the Sierra.ev features a dual-motor QWD setup producing up to 504Nm of torque. With Boost Mode activated, the SUV can accelerate from 0-100km/h in a claimed 5.8 seconds.

Designed for more than just city driving, the Sierra.ev offers six terrain modes including Snow, Mud, Sand, Rock Crawl, Custom and Normal. Off-road assistance, approximately 205mm ground clearance and advanced traction management enhance its capability across varied driving conditions.

LUXURY CABIN WITH ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY

Inside, Tata has focused on creating what it calls a “Luxury LifeSpace.” The Sierra.ev features a Horizon View triple-screen dashboard, Dolby Atmos-powered 12-speaker JBL Black audio system with SonicShaft soundbar, PanoraMax panoramic sunroof, powered front seats with thigh support extension and a powered gesture-controlled tailgate.

The SUV also introduces India’s first AirConsole gaming platform, allowing passengers to play games using their smartphones, alongside a HypAR head-up display featuring augmented reality visuals.

CONNECTED FEATURES AND SAFETY

The Sierra.ev comes equipped with Tata’s latest iRA.ev connected technology offering over 70 connected features and 5G connectivity. Other highlights include over-the-air software updates, an intelligent EV route planner integrated with Android Auto, DrivePay in-car UPI payments, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L), Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging support and Level 2+ ADAS with 22 advanced driver assistance features.

COLOURS AND POSITIONING

The Sierra.ev will be available in seven exterior colour options, including Pristine White, Pure Grey, Coorg Clouds, Bengal Rouge, Andaman Adventure, the new Rishikesh Rapids and the exclusive Nainital Nocturne for the top-spec Empowered A QWD variant.

With premium features, strong real-world range, advanced safety systems and genuine all-wheel-drive capability, the all-new Tata Sierra.ev enters the market as one of the company’s most technologically advanced electric SUVs, strengthening Tata Motors’ leadership in India’s rapidly growing EV segment.
