McMurtry Automotive has officially unveiled the production-ready Spéirling PURE, transforming its record-breaking electric prototype into a customer-ready hyper track car. Developed over nearly a decade, the single-seat EV has been engineered to deliver Formula 1-level performance while offering a surprisingly accessible ownership experience. Featuring extensive engineering upgrades, a larger battery pack and the company’s signature Downforce-on-Demand™ technology, the Spéirling PURE is set to redefine what an electric track machine can achieve.
ENGINEERED FOR EXTREME PERFORMANCE

At the heart of the Spéirling PURE is a new 100 kWh lithium-ion battery paired with twin rear-mounted electric motors producing 1,000 bhp. The updated powertrain enables breathtaking acceleration, launching the car from 0-60 mph in just 1.55 seconds before reaching a top speed of 190 mph (305 km/h). The larger battery also increases track running time while improved regenerative braking and upgraded drive motors enhance both efficiency and performance during demanding circuit sessions.
REVOLUTIONARY FAN-POWERED DOWNFORCE

What truly separates the Spéirling PURE from every other hypercar is its patented Downforce-on-Demand™ system. Twin high-speed fans generate up to 2,000 kg of downforce from a standstill, allowing the car to achieve extraordinary levels of grip regardless of speed. The system enables cornering and braking forces of up to 3g while maintaining stability even during spins. Unlike traditional aerodynamic setups that rely on airflow, McMurtry’s innovative fan technology delivers maximum downforce instantly, giving drivers exceptional confidence on the track.
REDESIGNED FOR DRIVERS

The production model introduces an all-new carbon-fibre monocoque with improved safety, greater cabin space and easier entry and exit. A longer wheelbase accommodates the larger battery while maintaining the compact proportions that define the Spéirling. Inside, each owner receives a custom-moulded racing seat tailored specifically to their body, accompanied by a motorsport-inspired steering wheel and a digital display showing key vehicle information. Extensive personalization options allow customers to configure both the exterior and interior to suit their individual preferences.
BUILT FOR PRACTICAL TRACK OWNERSHIP

Unlike many ultra-exclusive track cars that require factory teams for operation, the Spéirling PURE has been designed with ease of ownership in mind. Owners can operate the vehicle at track days with minimal assistance, while rapid DC charging allows the battery to recharge from 20% to 95% in as little as 20 minutes under ideal conditions. Service access has also been simplified through redesigned body panels, making maintenance quicker and more straightforward. For customers seeking additional support, McMurtry also offers a dedicated factory-backed ownership programme.
