McLaren has introduced the all-new 788HS, a limited-production supercar that represents the final and most extreme evolution of the acclaimed 720S, 765LT and 750S family. Carrying the exclusive “High Sport” badge, the new model combines a more powerful twin-turbocharged V8 engine with extensive aerodynamic enhancements, lightweight engineering and bespoke craftsmanship. Production is capped at just 200 examples worldwide, making it one of the rarest road-going McLarens ever built.
PERFORMANCE REACHES A NEW LEVEL

At the heart of the 788HS is McLaren’s 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 788 PS and 800 Nm of torque. Power is delivered instantly, allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and reach 200 km/h in only 7 seconds. The top speed stands at an impressive 330 km/h, placing it among the fastest production supercars in its class while maintaining exceptional responsiveness on both road and track.
ADVANCED AERODYNAMICS

The 788HS receives the most comprehensive aerodynamic package ever developed for this platform. A redesigned carbon-fibre front splitter, S-Duct bonnet, raised active rear spoiler and Formula 1-inspired rear diffuser work together to increase downforce by 10 percent compared to the 765LT. These upgrades improve high-speed stability while also enhancing cooling efficiency and overall aerodynamic balance.
LIGHTWEIGHT ENGINEERING

McLaren has focused extensively on reducing weight throughout the vehicle. Built around the brand’s signature carbon-fibre monocoque, the 788HS has a dry weight of just 1,265 kg, resulting in an outstanding power-to-weight ratio of 623 PS per tonne. Lightweight forged alloy wheels with a centre-lock design, carbon-fibre body panels and a minimalist cabin all contribute to its remarkable performance credentials.
DRIVER-FOCUSED DYNAMICS

The chassis has been extensively recalibrated with Proactive Chassis Control III suspension, adaptive dampers and a front ride height lowered by 5 mm. Carbon-ceramic brakes derived from the McLaren Senna provide exceptional stopping power, while the revised titanium quad-exit exhaust system delivers a more engaging soundtrack that complements the V8 engine’s character.
BESPOKE DESIGN AND CABIN

Every 788HS will be individually customised through McLaren Special Operations (MSO). Buyers can choose exclusive exterior finishes, including full visual carbon fibre, along with personalised interior themes. The cabin features a lightweight carbon-fibre centre console, bespoke HS branding, premium upholstery and a numbered dedication plaque, ensuring every example remains unique.
LIMITED TO 200 UNITS

McLaren will build only 200 examples of the 788HS, split equally between Coupe and Spider variants. As the final chapter of one of the brand’s most successful supercar generations, the 788HS blends extreme performance with exclusivity and advanced engineering. It stands as a fitting farewell to the 720S lineage while showcasing the innovation and craftsmanship that continue to define McLaren’s performance philosophy.
