Kia India has officially introduced the Syros EV, its second mass-market electric SUV, bringing a strong mix of range, technology and ownership benefits to the growing EV segment. Designed to make electric mobility more practical for everyday buyers, the Syros EV comes with two battery options, a certified driving range of up to 526 km and an extensive list of premium features. Along with opening pre-bookings at ₹25,000, Kia has also announced a lifetime high-voltage battery warranty and an assured buyback programme, making the ownership experience more reassuring for first-time EV buyers.

BATTERY, RANGE AND PERFORMANCE

The Syros EV is available with two battery pack options to suit different driving requirements. The larger 51.4 kWh battery delivers an ARAI-certified driving range of 526 km, making it one of the longest-range electric SUVs in its category. Buyers can also opt for the 42 kWh battery, which offers a certified range of 443 km. Power comes from an electric motor producing 171 PS, enabling the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.1 seconds with the larger battery pack. Kia has also equipped the vehicle with regenerative braking, i-Pedal driving, Vehicle-to-Load functionality and battery conditioning technology for improved efficiency and convenience.
FEATURES AND SAFETY

Inside, the Syros EV offers a premium cabin featuring a 30-inch Trinity Panoramic Display that combines the digital instrument cluster, infotainment system and climate controls into one seamless layout. The SUV also includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, OTA software updates, an eight-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting and a wireless charger. Safety remains a major highlight with Level 2 ADAS offering 16 autonomous driving features, a 360-degree camera, six airbags, electronic stability control, blind view monitor, parking assistance systems and multiple driver assistance technologies.
CHARGING AND OWNERSHIP BENEFITS

Charging has been made easier through Kia’s K-Charge ecosystem, which provides access to more than 20,300 charging points across India using a single payment wallet within the MyKia application. The Syros EV supports 100 kW DC fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 39 minutes. The SUV also supports 10.8 kW AC charging for home use. To reduce ownership concerns, Kia is offering a lifetime battery warranty, Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) financing options and an assured buyback programme that aims to improve long-term resale value.
