Toyota is set to launch the ninth-generation Hilux in India on July 28. The latest version of the popular pickup truck brings a completely redesigned exterior, a more premium cabin and several new technology features. While the overall mechanical package is expected to remain familiar, Toyota could introduce a mild-hybrid diesel option to improve efficiency and performance.

FRESH EXTERIOR DESIGN

The new Hilux adopts a bolder and sharper look with a honeycomb front grille, slimmer LED headlamps connected by a black trim, muscular wheel arches and redesigned LED tail lamps. The updated styling gives the pickup a more rugged and modern road presence than its predecessor.

UPGRADED CABIN

Inside, Toyota has redesigned the dashboard and added a larger 12.3-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster and a new three-spoke steering wheel. Premium features include ventilated front seats, wireless charging, a 360-degree camera and an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS).
