Volkswagen India has introduced the Virtus Anniversary Edition at an ex-showroom price of ₹19.20 lakh to celebrate four years of the sedan in the Indian market. Limited to just 150 units, the special edition is based on the top-spec GT Plus Sport variant and offers exclusive styling elements along with additional convenience features while retaining the same price as the standard model.
EXCLUSIVE LOOKS
The Anniversary Edition debuts in an exclusive Avocado Pearl paint finish paired with a contrasting black roof. It also features black alloy wheels, red brake calipers, a black boot spoiler, gloss-black exterior accents and smoked headlamp and tail-lamp housings, giving the sedan a sportier appearance.
MORE EQUIPMENT
Additional features include a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors and puddle lamps. The sedan also retains premium equipment from the GT Plus Sport, including ventilated front seats, a powered sunroof, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, wireless smartphone connectivity and six airbags.
ENGINE AND AVAILABILITY
Power comes from a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol TSI engine producing 150hp and 250Nm, paired exclusively with a seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox. With only 150 units planned for India, the Virtus Anniversary Edition offers buyers an exclusive version of Volkswagen’s popular premium sedan without any additional price over the variant it is based on.
