Hyundai Motor India has launched the new Hyundai Exter Knight, a darker and sportier version of its compact SUV, with prices starting at ₹8.13 lakh (ex-showroom). The new edition adds exclusive black styling elements, brass accents inside the cabin and sporty design details. Hyundai says its Knight range has crossed 1,00,000 cumulative sales since its introduction in 2022.

EXTER KNIGHT GETS EXCLUSIVE BLACK STYLING

The new Exter Knight stands apart with a series of blacked-out exterior elements designed to give the compact SUV a more confident appearance. It gets matte black Exter and Hyundai logos at the front and rear, along with dark grey garnish on the bumpers and side sills. An exclusive Knight emblem further identifies the special edition.

SPORTY WHEELS ADD TO THE DARK THEME

Depending on the variant, the Exter Knight is equipped with R15 sporty black alloy wheels or R15 dark grey styled steel wheels. Red brake calipers at the front provide a contrasting touch to the darker exterior. The combination of black badges, grey detailing and the red accents gives the SUV a more distinctive road presence.

ALL-BLACK CABIN WITH BRASS ACCENTS

The dark treatment continues inside with an all-black interior complemented by brass accents. The Exter Knight also gets exclusive black semi-fabric seat upholstery, while select variants feature amber-coloured footwell lighting and a black D-cut steering wheel. These additions give the cabin a more distinctive atmosphere while retaining the practical layout of the standard Exter.

PETROL AND CNG POWERTRAIN OPTIONS

The Hyundai Exter Knight is powered by a four-cylinder 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine. The petrol version can be paired with either a five-speed manual transmission or Hyundai’s Smart Auto AMT. Buyers can also choose a bi-fuel Kappa petrol-CNG version, which comes with a five-speed manual gearbox.

VARIANTS, PRICES AND COLOURS

The Exter Knight is available in HX 6 and HX 10 variants. The HX 6 petrol-manual version is priced at ₹8.13 lakh, while the petrol-AMT version costs ₹8.74 lakh. The HX 6 petrol-CNG manual is priced at ₹9.10 lakh, and the HX 10 petrol-AMT sits at the top of the range at ₹9.60 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
