Skoda Auto has launched the updated Slavia facelift in India, with prices starting at ₹10 lakh (ex-showroom) and going up to ₹18.84 lakh. The refreshed sedan gets subtle exterior design changes, additional features and a new automatic transmission option for the 1.0-litre TSI engine.

The Slavia facelift continues with the existing 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre TSI petrol engines, while Skoda has introduced an 8-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox with the smaller engine. The 1.5-litre TSI continues to be offered with a 7-speed DSG/DCT automatic transmission.

Skoda Slavia Facelift: Engine and Transmission

The updated Slavia retains its two TSI petrol engine options. The 1.0-litre TSI produces 115bhp and 178Nm, while the 1.5-litre TSI develops 150bhp and 250Nm.

The 1.0-litre engine can now be paired with a new 8-speed torque-converter automatic, alongside the existing 6-speed manual gearbox. Meanwhile, the 1.5-litre TSI continues with its 7-speed DCT automatic transmission.

Skoda Slavia Facelift: Design Updates

The facelift brings subtle styling changes rather than a complete redesign. The sedan gets updated detailing for its LED headlamps and tail-lamps, along with a new segment-specific chrome strip on the grille.

Skoda has also introduced new 16-inch alloy wheels, while the facelift is available with new Arctic White and Cappuccino Beige exterior colour options.

The Monte Carlo variants continue to feature blacked-out exterior elements, an all-black cabin and red interior accents. Dual-tone colour options are also available.

Skoda Slavia Facelift: Features

The biggest changes are found in the equipment list. The updated Slavia gets several new convenience and technology features, including a 360-degree camera, a new 10.1-inch infotainment display and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display.

Another notable addition is segment-only rear massaging seats, adding a more premium touch to the sedan’s cabin.

The Slavia facelift also gets a variable-geometry compressor, aimed at improving air-conditioning performance.
