MINI India has launched the new MINI Cooper Oxford Edition at an ex-showroom price of ₹55.50 lakh. Unveiled on 16 October 2026, the limited-quantity special edition celebrates 25 years of modern MINI production at Plant Oxford in the United Kingdom, bringing distinctive British styling elements and additional equipment to the Cooper 3-door.

The MINI Cooper Oxford Edition was launched at MINI Speed Motorwagen, the brand’s newly opened dealership in Lucknow. The model will be available as a completely built-up unit (CBU), with bookings open across authorised MINI India dealerships. Deliveries have commenced immediately.

Distinctive British Design

The Oxford Edition is based on the Favoured Pack and is offered in two exclusive exterior colours: Indigo Sunset Blue and Chilli Red. Both finishes are paired with a contrasting Glazed White roof and white mirror caps, creating a distinctive visual identity.

The Union Jack features prominently throughout the design. Highlights include a Union Jack roof sticker, bonnet and boot stripes, themed steering wheel detailing, Oxford door entry sills, special floor mats and exclusive wheel hub and valve caps. The car also gets 18-inch Slide Spoke two-tone alloy wheels and black JCW Sport Seats upholstered in Vescin.

Engine and Performance

Power comes from a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder MINI TwinPower Turbo petrol engine producing 204 bhp and 300 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a seven-speed double-clutch Steptronic Sport transmission.

The MINI Cooper Oxford Edition accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in a claimed 6.6 seconds and has a top speed of 242 kmph. MINI’s adaptive suspension and JCW Sport Brakes further contribute to its sporty driving character.

Technology and Interior Features

Inside, the Oxford Edition features a 240 mm circular OLED touchscreen powered by MINI Operating System 9, with touchscreen and voice-control functionality. The equipment list includes a MINI Head-up Display, Harman Kardon Surround Sound System, panoramic glass roof, electrically adjustable front seats and a driver’s Active Seat.

Connectivity features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, MINI Digital Key Plus, navigation and remote software updates. A Fisheye Camera also enables occupants to capture photos and videos inside the cabin.

Safety and driver assistance equipment includes Level 1 ADAS, front collision warning, lane departure warning, cruise control, parking assistance, a rear-view camera, ABS and Dynamic Stability Control.
